For the cleaning and maintenance of Haique Engineered surface, we strongly recommend using neutral pH cleaners only. Acidic or alkaline cleaners can potentially damage the surface of the engineered quartz. To ensure the longevity and pristine appearance of your Haique Engineered surface, we advise using ‘cif’ Cleaning Cream for general cleaning purposes. This specially formulated cream is gentle yet effective in removing dirt and stains without causing any harm to the quartz.

We recommend the usage of Haique Surfaces in lighter shades only, along with a finish on the surface such as leather or distress finish. It is crucial to follow correct installation techniques to ensure optimal performance.

A: While the international installation guidelines recommend a minimum 3-5 mm grout after each tile and an expansion joint of 6 – 8 mm after every 5 meters, we do offer the option to install Haique Surfaces with seamless joints. However, there are some precautions that need to be taken to ensure a successful installation:

  • (a) Provision of a 10 mm gap below skirting and the insertion of a suitable backer rod to accommodate thermal expansion of the product.
  • (b) For seamless joints, we recommend filling them with matching epoxy, which consists of Transparent Resin, Matching Pigment (i.e., marble powder), and Hardener.

It’s important to note that in the seamless joint concept, to make the levels meet, the flooring may need to be re-polished. In larger areas such as shopping mall flooring or big halls, an expansion joint of 6 – 8 mm is still recommended after every 5 meters.

Absolutely! You can confidently install our Haique Surfaces in expansive areas like mega malls. However, it’s important to note that apart from the provision of a prescribed 10 mm gap below skirting, you must also include an expansion joint every 5 meters. This joint should be 6-8 mm wide and filled with a suitable backer rod and Silicone Sealant. This provision allows for thermal expansion of the product, ensuring its durability and longevity in large-scale installations.

To ensure a successful installation of our Haique Surfaces on Plywood / Bison Panel for wall cladding, we recommend using a PU base adhesive instead of araldite. It is important to apply the adhesive on properly secured marine Plywood / Bison Panel for optimal results.
